Israeli forces have carried out several airstrikes in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. Israeli forces ordered local residents to evacuate the southern suburb of Dahiyeh in Beirut less than an hour before the attack began.
Local media reported at least two airstrikes in Dahiyeh.
In addition to Dahiyeh, people were told to quickly evacuate the vicinity of at least two buildings in Haret Herik and the nearby Hadath area. The two buildings are marked in red on a map released by the Israeli military. Israel claims the two buildings have "Hezbollah positions and interests".
Israeli forces told residents to move at least 500 meters away from the two buildings. Said, attack will be carried out there soon.
Less than an hour after the warning, Israeli warplanes launched a series of strikes on Beirut on Saturday evening local time.
A drone strike targeted the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu near Tel Aviv yesterday. After the attack, Netanyahu said he would have to pay a "heavy price" for those who tried to kill him.
