Donald Trump, the candidate of the Republican Party, has also won in the US state of Arizona. Through this he won all seven swing states. The AP confirmed Trump's victory in Arizona on Saturday (November 9).

Through this, this candidate of the Republican Party went much ahead of his rival, the candidate and vice president of the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris.

Arizona has 11 Electoral College votes. After this vote is confirmed, Trump's collection will stand at 312. Which is much more than the 270 votes needed to become the next president. Trump's closest challenger, Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, has 226 Electoral College votes.

By winning Arizona, the Republicans regained their lost state. Because the current president Joe Biden won this state in 2020. But this is Trump's second victory in the state. He won this state in 2016.

Trump emphasized border security and the economy in his campaign. Trump campaigned against Kamala Harris, citing inflation and illegal border crossings during the Biden administration.

Earlier, Trump won six out of seven swing states namely Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina and Wisconsin. In 2020, Biden beat Trump in all six except for North Carolina.

At that time, Biden received 306 of the electoral votes. And Trump got 232. And when Trump won the presidency in 2016, he got only 306 votes.

According to the news agency AP, Trump has so far received 74.6 million votes or 50.5 percent of the total votes. And Kamala Harris got seven crore nine lakh votes. He got 48 percent of the votes cast.
