Kamala Harris is speaking in a question and answer program organized by CNN
Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has called her Republican rival Donald Trump a "fascist". He warned voters that Trump's "instability" is increasing. Kamala said these things in response to a voter's question at a question and answer program organized by the American media CNN in the state of Pennsylvania on Wednesday.
Voters asked Kamala to answer a question whether Trump is fit to be president. Kamala then criticized Trump for his fondness for former German dictator Adolf Hitler.
Vice President Kamla Harris said, "They also think about our democracy." They don't want a president in the United States who admires dictators and is a fascist himself.'
The Republican candidate has come under criticism for a recent comment by John Kelly, who served as White House Chief of Staff during Trump's presidency. Kelly said he admires Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and wants to build a military similar to Hitler's in World War II.
In an interview with the New York Times, Kelly also said that Trump wants loyal generals like those of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler to replace the US military. He also warned that the Republican presidential candidate definitely falls under the definition of a fascist.
His rivals have been doubting whether Republican candidate Trump respects American democracy. After Kelly's comments, it gained an extra dimension.
Democratic candidate Kamala took part in CNN's program on Wednesday and highlighted the statements of several former administration officials of former US President Trump. Administration officials, including Trump's national security adviser and vice president, have already spoken out against Trump. He said that it would not be right for this leader to become president again.
