Biden does not support the Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities

    US President Joe Biden

If Israel wants to attack Iran's nuclear facilities in retaliation, US President Joe Biden will not support it. Biden said this after nearly 180 missile attacks by Iran on Israeli territory. He said this about the possible attack of Israel.

Last Tuesday, Iran fired one missile at Israel. Since then, there has been renewed extreme tension in the Iran-Israel relationship. Israel, however, says its air defenses have been able to intercept most Iranian missiles.

Iran said the attack on Israel was in response to the killings of Hamas political wing leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and the commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps, Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoishan.

Tehran launched a series of missiles at Israel after the Israeli forces announced the start of a ground operation against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel says it is conducting raids on Iran-backed Hezbollah "terrorist installations" in border villages.

The United States has been working for a long time to restore peace in the Middle East. Washington has an active diplomatic effort to broker a cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas, particularly in the Palestinian Gaza Strip. But no positive results have been seen in this regard yet. Instead, the conflict increased.

Local time yesterday, Joe Biden visited the affected areas of North Carolina due to Hurricane Helen. Vice President Kamala Harris was with him.

At this time, a journalist wants to know from Biden, if Israel wants to attack Iran's nuclear facilities now, will you support it or not? Biden simply replied, 'No'.

The US president also said that the US will discuss with the country what Israel wants to do in the current situation.

Biden said that he spoke with the leaders of the G-7 alliance of rich countries about the current situation. They all agreed that Israel had a right to respond.

Earlier, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a briefing, "Israel has the right to respond." We are discussing the possible response of the country.
