Leaders of the US, Australia, India and Japan have expressed 'deep concern' over the situation in the South and East China Seas. They expressed this concern in a joint statement given at the end of a conference in Delaware, USA yesterday local time.

The US, Australia, India and Japan formed the Quad Alliance. This year's conference of the Quad was held in Wilmington, Delaware, the hometown of US President Joe Biden. In a joint statement given at the end of the conference, the Quad leaders said, "We are deeply concerned about the situation in the East and South China Seas."

But despite expressing concern, the statement did not directly mention Beijing by name.

Apart from the South and East China Seas, the Quad leaders discussed various global issues including Ukraine war, Gaza war, India Today reported.
