Kamala Harris, the presumptive candidate for the upcoming US presidential election, has added three senior advisers to her campaign. One of them worked as a campaign manager for former President Barack Obama for two terms.
A source directly involved in Kamal's campaign told Reuters on Friday.
When Obama first ran for president in 2008, his campaign manager was David Plough. In 2012, he played a role in Obama's second term as his senior aide. That Plouffe will now work as a senior adviser to Kamla Harris' election campaign.
Stephanie Carter has also joined Kamala's campaign. He was the White House communications director during the Obama administration. He also has work experience as deputy campaign manager in Obama's election campaign. In this election, the communication specialist of the Democratic Party will play a role as a senior consultant on strategic message exchange in Kamal's campaign.
Stephanie Carter's organization is hosting the Democratic National Convention this August. In this conference, the party will officially announce the name of Kamala Harris as the party candidate for the November presidential election.
