Five aid workers were killed in an Israeli airstrike after distributing food aid to Palestinians in the Deir el-Balah area of the Gaza Strip.
Gaza's Hamas government media office said aid workers from the UK, Australia, Poland and Palestine were among the dead.
US-based aid organization World Central Kitchen (WCK) has said that "several" of its workers have been killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza. The organization called on Israel to stop such indiscriminate killings in Gaza.
WCC founder Jose Andres said on social media that he was heartbroken by the incident. He is sad.
