    The concert hall is burning after the attack

At least 60 people have been killed and 145 injured in shootings at concertgoers in Moscow. Explosives were also used in the attack. Crocus City Hall caught fire at the scene. It was one of the deadliest attacks in Russia in decades.

Russia has started an investigation into who is responsible for this incident. The horrific attack took place when the audience was taking their seats in the hall to enjoy a concert by the famous rock band Picnic.

The international terrorist group ISIL (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the concert attack. World leaders strongly condemned and protested this incident.

Farhan Haq, spokesperson of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, gave a statement on the attack. He said, "The head of the United Nations has condemned in the strongest possible terms the incident in which at least 40 people were killed and more than 100 people were injured in the attack on the concert hall in Moscow." 

This statement was made before the announcement of the Russian authorities about the increase in the number of people killed.

The statement also mentioned that Guterres expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the victims, the people and government of Russia.

The UN Security Council strongly condemned the attack on the concert hall in Moscow's Krasnogorsk region as a heinous and cowardly act. Members of the Security Council stressed the need to hold accountable and bring to justice the perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of these reprehensible acts of terrorism, they said.

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel said, "Cuba condemns the brutal terrorist act in Moscow. Our deepest condolences to the government and people of Russia.

French President Emmanuel Macron said in a statement from the Elysee Palace that he strongly condemned the terrorist attack by the Islamic State at Crocus City Hall. France expresses its solidarity with the victims, their families and the Russian people.

The UN Security Council said its members stressed the need to hold accountable and bring to justice the perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of these reprehensible acts of terrorism.

The German Foreign Ministry has issued a statement condemning the attack. The statement said, "The images of the horrific attack on innocent people in Crocus City Hall near Moscow are horrific. Who is behind the attack should be clarified quickly. Our sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the attack.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni called the attack a heinous act of terrorism. He said, "The horrific killing of innocent civilians in Moscow is unacceptable."

Meloni expressed her full solidarity with the victims of the attack and their families.

White House spokesman John Kirby condemned the attack. He said, 'The scenes of the attack are terrible and not worth watching. We will definitely stand by the people affected by this terrible shooting incident.

Meanwhile, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Gil said, "We strongly condemn the armed attack on civilians today (Friday) at Crocus City Hall, Moscow's exhibition center." He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and solidarity with the Russian government.
