The name of the deceased journalist is Ahmed Jamal Al Madhoun. He was the deputy director of news agency Al Rai Agency.
According to the media office of the Gaza government, 103 journalists have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7. Al-Jazeera Arabic cameraman Samer Abudaka was among those killed.
Tim Dawson, deputy secretary-general of the International Federation of Journalists, said, "We have never seen so many journalists die in a conflict."
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health of Gaza said yesterday that 166 more people were killed in Gaza in 24 hours due to Israeli attacks. Since October 7, 20,424 Palestinians have been killed there.
