এই মাসের শুরুতে ইরানের মিসাইল আক্রমণের প্রতিশোধ নিতে নেমে পড়েছে। এর অর্থ এই যে আরেকটি মানসিক বাধা পার হয়ে গেছে ইসরায়েল। ইরানের মিত্র হামাস ৭ অক্টোবর ইসরায়েলি নাগরিকদের আক্রমণ করে হত্যার আগে এই দুই দেশ যে একে অপরের মাটিতে মুখোমুখি সামরিক সংঘর্ষ পরিচালনা করবে, তা কল্পনা করা কঠিন ছিল। তখন পর্যন্ত তা মনে করা হতো খুবই ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ। আর আজ তা যেন স্বাভাবিক এক ব্যাপার মনে হচ্ছে।

১৯৭৯ সালে ইরানে ইসলামি বিপ্লব বিজয়ী হলো। এর পর থেকে ইরান ফিলিস্তিনিদের অধিকারকে সমর্থন করে আসছে। ইসরায়েলকে ধ্বংস করার জন্য তারা প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।

ইরান সেই লক্ষ্যে তৈরি করেছে নিজেদের এক অক্ষ। ইসরায়েলিরা একে বলে ‘আগুনের বলয়’। লেবাননের হিজবুল্লাহ, ইয়েমেনের হুতি, ইরাক ও সিরিয়ার শিয়া মিলিশিয়া গোষ্ঠী এবং পাশাপাশি হামাসের মতো সুন্নি ইসলামপন্থীদের নিয়ে একটি ‘প্রতিরোধের অক্ষ’ তৈরি করেছে তারা।

২০২৩–এর ৭ অক্টোবরের পর থেকে বেনিয়ামিন নেতানিয়াহুর নেতৃত্বে ইসরায়েলের কট্টর ডানপন্থী সরকার ধীরে ধীরে গাজা যুদ্ধকে প্রসারিত করেছে। উদ্দেশ্য, এই গোষ্ঠিগুলোসহ ইরানকে পাল্টা আঘাত করা। নেতানিয়াহু দীর্ঘদিন ধরে হিজবুল্লাহর লাগাতার রকেট হামলা এবং ইরানের পারমাণবিক কর্মসূচিকে তাদের অস্তিত্বের জন্য হুমকি হিসেবে দেখে আসছেন।

গাজা যুদ্ধবিরতি এবং জিম্মি চুক্তির ওপর আলোচনা পুনরায় শুরু করার জন্য ব্লিঙ্কেনের সর্বশেষ চেষ্টা কোনো ফল বয়ে আনেনি। বোঝাই যাচ্ছে, এই সব সহিংসতা এবং দীর্ঘস্থায়ী অস্থিতিশীলতার মূল কারণগুলো আসলে লক্ষই করা হয়নি। ইসরায়েল ও ইরান এক হাত পেছনে লুকিয়ে রেখে পাল্টাপাল্টি আঘাত চালিয়ে যাবে হয়তো। আর গাজায় ভয়ংকর মানবিক ট্র্যাজেডি ক্রমে আরও খারাপ অবস্থায় যাবে। কিন্তু লড়াইয়ের ডামাডোলে সেই সব মৃত্যু চলে যাবে শিরোনামের বাইরে।

 

কিছু তো হওয়ার কথাই ছিল। আর এ বছরের ১ এপ্রিল তা হলো। দামেস্কে ইরানের কূটনৈতিক কনস্যুলেটে ইসরাইলি বোমা হামলায় দুই জ্যেষ্ঠ জেনারেল নিহত হলেন। এই জেনারেলরা হামলার জন্য পরিকল্পনা করছিলেন বলে ইসরায়েল দাবি করে। ক্ষুব্ধ ইরান ১৩ এপ্রিল পাল্টা আঘাত করে। ইসরায়েলি ভূখণ্ডে এই ছিল তার প্রথম সরাসরি সামরিক হামলা। এত দিনের দ্বিধা ভেঙে গেল।

ইসরায়েল পরবর্তী সময়ে প্রতিশোধ নিয়েছে। তবে কোনো পক্ষই খুব বেশি ক্ষতি করেনি। আর তা সম্ভবত ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবেই। তারপর এই অবস্থা বেশি দিন স্থায়ী হতে পারেনি। জুলাই মাসে তেহরানে হামাসের রাজনৈতিক প্রধান ইসমাইল হানিয়াহ এবং গত মাসে বৈরুতে হিজবুল্লাহর নেতা হাসান নাসরুল্লাহর হত্যাকাণ্ড আবার পাশা পাল্টে দিল।

কট্টর পশ্চিমাবিরোধী ইরানের সর্বোচ্চ নেতা আয়াতুল্লাহ আলী খামেনি ছিলেন নাসরুল্লাহর ব্যক্তিগত বন্ধু। নাসরুল্লাহর মৃত্যুতে তিনি গভীরভাবে শোকাহত হয়েছিলেন বলে জানা যায়। খামেনি ঘোষণা করলেন যে ইরানের রাজধানীতে অতিথি থাকাকালে হানিয়াহকে হত্যা করা হয়েছে, এই অপমান সহ্য করা হবে না। তাই ১ অক্টোবর ইরান তার দ্বিতীয়, বড় মাপের সরাসরি আক্রমণ শুরু করে।

তিন সপ্তাহ ধরে মধ্যপ্রাচ্য আন্দাজ করার চেষ্টা করেছে যে ইসরায়েল পাল্টা কী করে। শেষ পর্যন্ত শনিবার এই হামলার জবাব দিয়েছে ইসরায়েল। এ নিয়ে সর্বোচ্চ পর্যায়ে মতানৈক্য ছিল। ইসরায়েলিদের কেউ কেউ বলছিলেন যে ইসরায়েলের উচিত এই সুযোগ কাজে লাগিয়ে ইরানের পারমাণবিক ও শক্তিকেন্দ্রগুলো লক্ষ্য করে হামলা চালানো। এমনকি কেউ বলছিলেন যে খামেনি এবং অন্যান্য শীর্ষ নেতাদের নির্মূল করার চেষ্টা করার এটাই ভালো সময়।

ইসরাইয়েল কিন্তু সামরিক ঘাঁটিতে আঘাত করার মধ্যেই নিজেদের  সীমাবদ্ধ রেখেছিল। বেসামরিক হতাহতের ঘটনা এড়াতে দৃশ্যত সতর্কও ছিল তারা। একে অনেকে আমেরিকান কূটনীতির সাফল্য হিসেবে দেখছেন। মার্কিন প্রেসিডেন্ট জো বাইডেন ব্যক্তিগতভাবে নেতানিয়াহুকে চাপ দিয়েছিলেন, যাতে এই সংঘাতের গতিকে বেশি বাড়তে দেওয়া না হয়। তিনি তাঁর সেক্রেটারি অব স্টেট, অ্যান্টনি ব্লিঙ্কেনকে গত সপ্তাহে সেই উদ্দেশ্যে জেরুজালেমে পাঠিয়েছিলেন।

এইবার বাইডেনের কথা দাম দেওয়া হলো বলে মনে হয়। ৭ অক্টোবরের পর নেতানিয়াহুর আমেরিকান পরামর্শ গ্রহণ করার এ এক বিরল উদাহরণ। তবে তেহরান আবার আক্রমণ করলে ইসরায়েলের এই নেতা পারমাণবিক স্থাপনা এবং অন্যান্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ লক্ষ্যবস্তুতে আঘাত করবেন না, এই নিশ্চয়তা কে দেবে? ইরানের বিমান প্রতিরক্ষাব্যবস্থা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। ভবিষ্যতের আক্রমণ প্রতিহত করতে তারা কতটা সক্ষম, তা–ও নিশ্চিত নয়।

সব কিছু এখনো নিয়ন্ত্রণের বাইরে চলে যেতে পারে, তা বুঝতে পেরে পেন্টাগন থেকে ইরানের কাছে সপ্তাহান্তে যে বার্তাটি গেছে তার অর্থ একেবারেই স্পষ্ট—পাল্টা আঘাত করার কথা ভেবো না। একই বার্তা সামোয়াতে কমনওয়েলথ সম্মেলনের বক্তৃতায় যুক্তরাজ্যের প্রধানমন্ত্রী কেয়ার স্টার্মারের কাছ থেকেও পাওয়া গেছে।

স্টারমার বলেছিলেন, ‘আমি নিশ্চিত যে ইসরায়েলের ইরানি আগ্রাসনের বিরুদ্ধে আত্মরক্ষা করার অধিকার রয়েছে। আমি এ–ও নিশ্চিত যে আরও আঞ্চলিক উত্তেজনা আমাদের এড়াতে হবে এবং সব পক্ষকে সংযম দেখানোর আহ্বান জানাতে হবে। পরিস্থিতি শান্ত রাখতে আমরা মিত্রদের সঙ্গে কাজ চালিয়ে যাব।’

প্রেসিডেন্ট নির্বাচনের দুই সপ্তাহ আগে ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্প দাবি করছেন যে জো বাইডেন ও কমলা হ্যারিস সংকট নিয়ন্ত্রণে ভয়ানকভাবে ব্যর্থ হচ্ছেন। মার্কিন প্রশাসন প্রবলভাবে সব কিছু শান্ত রাখতে চায়। একই কারণে, পেন্টাগন জোর দিয়ে বলেছে যে সর্বশেষ ইসরায়েলি হামলায় মার্কিন বাহিনী জড়িত ছিল না।

প্রারম্ভিক অবস্থা থেকে কী বোঝা যাচ্ছে? ইরান কী এই বার্তা গ্রহণ করবে? তারা কি সংঘাত আপাতত এড়িয়ে যাবে? তবে তাদের ওখানেও বিভিন্ন রকম মতের নীতিনির্ধারক রয়েছেন। তাঁদের অনেকে নিশ্চয়ই কঠোর পদক্ষেপের জন্য চাপ দেবেন।

যতক্ষণ না গাজা এবং বৃহত্তর ফিলিস্তিন সমস্যার সমাধান হচ্ছে, যেকোনো সময় আরও বড় কোনো যুদ্ধ শুরু হয়ে যেতে পারে ইসরায়েল-ইরানের মধ্যে। আর তার ধাক্কা সরাসরি মধ্যপ্রাচ্যজুড়ে ছড়িয়ে পড়বে।

ইসরায়েলি বিক্ষোভকারীদের ধিক্কারের মুখে বক্তৃতা থামাতে বাধ্য হলেন নেতানিয়াহু

গত বছরের ৭ অক্টোবর হামাসের হামলার ঘটনায় নিহত ব্যক্তিদের স্মরণে গতকাল রোববার ইসরায়েলের জেরুজালেমে এক স্মরণ অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল। সেখানে বক্তব্য দিচ্ছিলেন নেতানিয়াহু। তবে  ইসরায়েলি বিক্ষোভকারীদের ধিক্কারের মুখে নেতানিয়াহু বক্তব্য থামিয়ে দিতে বাধ্য হন।

রোববার ওই অনুষ্ঠানের সরাসরি সম্প্রচারিত ফুটেজে দেখা যায়, বক্তব্য শুরুর কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই উপস্থিত দর্শকেরা চিৎকার শুরু করলে নেতানিয়াহু পোডিয়ামে স্থির হয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকেন। তাঁর বক্তব্যের মাঝখানে এক মিনিটের বেশি সময় ধরে দর্শকেরা হট্টগোল করেন। কয়েকজন ব্যক্তি নেতানিয়াহুর উদ্দেশে বলেন, ‘আপনাকে ধিক্কার’।

বিক্ষোভকারীদের একজন বারবার চিৎকার করে বলছিলেন, ‘আমার বাবাকে হত্যা করা হয়েছে।’

টাইমস অব ইসরায়েলের প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়, শুরুতে ওই স্মরণ অনুষ্ঠানে নিহত ব্যক্তিদের পরিবারের সদস্যদের বক্তৃতার সুযোগ দেওয়ার পরিকল্পনা ছিল না। কারণ, আশঙ্কা করা হচ্ছিল নিহত ব্যক্তিদের স্বজনেরা ইসরায়েল সরকারের সমালোচনা করতে পারেন। তবে অনুষ্ঠানস্থলে বিক্ষোভের মুখে স্বজনদের বক্তব্যের সুযোগ দেওয়া হয়।

গত বছরের ৭ অক্টোবর ইসরায়েলে ফিলিস্তিনের স্বাধীনতাকামী সশস্ত্র সংগঠন হামাসের নেতৃত্বাধীন হামলায় ১ হাজার ১৩৯ জন নিহত হন। ওই সময় ২০০ জনের বেশি মানুষকে জিম্মি করা হয়। এর মধ্যে প্রায় ১০০ জন এখনো গাজায় আছেন।

গাজায় থেকে যাওয়া জিম্মিদের মুক্তি নিশ্চিত করতে চুক্তিতে পৌঁছানোর জন্য নেতানিয়াহুর প্রশাসনের ওপর জনগণের পাশাপাশি কূটনৈতিক চাপ বাড়ছে।

ইতিমধ্যে মিসরের প্রেসিডেন্ট আবদেল ফাত্তাহ আল–সিসি গতকাল একটি প্রস্তাব দিয়েছেন। কিছু ফিলিস্তিনি বন্দীর মুক্তির বিনিময়ে চার ইসরায়েলি জিম্মিকে মুক্তি দেওয়ার জন্য প্রাথমিকভাবে গাজা উপত্যকায় দুই দিনের যুদ্ধবিরতির প্রস্তাব দিয়েছেন তিনি। সিসি এমন সময়ে প্রস্তাবটি দিয়েছেন, যখন গাজায় যুদ্ধ অবসানের চেষ্টায় কাতারের রাজধানী দোহায় যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের কেন্দ্রীয় তদন্ত সংস্থা সিআইএ এবং ইসরায়েলের গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা মোসাদের মধ্যে আলোচনা চলছে।

  

কায়রোতে আলজেরিয়ার প্রেসিডেন্ট আবদেলমাদজিদ টেবুনের সঙ্গে যৌথভাবে একটি সংবাদ সম্মেলন করেন সিসি। সেখানে তিনি বলেন, অস্থায়ী যুদ্ধবিরতি কার্যকর হওয়ার ১০ দিনের মধ্যে স্থায়ী যুদ্ধবিরতির আলোচনা শুরু হওয়া উচিত।

তত্ত্বাবধায়ক সরকারব্যবস্থা প্রবর্তন করে আনা সংবিধানের ত্রয়োদশ সংশোধনী ২০১১ সালের ১০ মে সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ মতামতের ভিত্তিতে বাতিল ঘোষণা করে রায় দেন আপিল বিভাগের সাত বিচারপতির পূর্ণাঙ্গ বেঞ্চ। হাইকোর্টের দেওয়া রায়ের বিরুদ্ধে করা আপিল মঞ্জুর করে এ রায় দেওয়া হয়।

এই রায় পুনর্বিবেচনা চেয়ে গত সপ্তাহে একটি আবেদন করেন বিএনপির মহাসচিব মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর। এর আগে রায় পুনর্বিবেচনা চেয়ে আবেদন করেন সুশাসনের জন্য নাগরিকের (সুজন) সম্পাদক বদিউল আলম মজুমদারসহ পাঁচ বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তি। অন্য চার ব্যক্তি হলেন তোফায়েল আহমেদ, এম হাফিজউদ্দিন খান, জোবাইরুল হক ভূঁইয়া ও জাহরা রহমান। 

পৃথক দুটি রিভিউ আবেদন আপিল বিভাগের চেম্বার আদালতে ২০ অক্টোবর ওঠে। সেদিন আদালত আবেদন দুটি আপিল বিভাগের পূর্ণাঙ্গ বেঞ্চে বৃহস্পতিবার (২৪ অক্টোবর) শুনানির জন্য নির্ধারণ করেন।

সংবিধানের ত্রয়োদশ সংশোধনীকে বৈধ ঘোষণা করে দেওয়া রায়ে বলা হয়, ১৯৯৬ সালের ত্রয়োদশ সংশোধনী সংবিধানসম্মত। এ রায়ের বিরুদ্ধে সরাসরি আপিলের অনুমতি দেওয়া হয়। এর ধারাবাহিকতায় ২০০৫ সালে আপিল করে রিট আবেদনকারীপক্ষ।

Secret US documents on Israel's plan to attack Iran leaked, what's in the documents

Top secret US intelligence documents have been leaked detailing Israel's plans for a possible attack on the country in retaliation for recent attacks on Iran. Three sources who have knowledge about the incident have given this information. A source said the documents are correct.

A US official commented to CNN that this incident of secret document leak is "very worrying".  

The documents are dated October 15 and 16. But these started spreading online last Friday. Earlier, the documents were published on the social networking site Telegram from an account called 'Middle East Spectator'.

These documents are marked as 'Top Secret'. The markings indicate that they can only be seen by the US and its 'Five Eyes' allies Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK.
