Voting for India's 18th Lok Sabha elections begins tomorrow Friday. This vote will be taken in 543 Lok Sabha seats. Of these, West Bengal has 42 seats. And this time the election is being held in seven rounds. Tomorrow, the first phase of West Bengal elections will be held in three Lok Sabha constituencies. 

The three constituencies are Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar. And among the 28 states and 8 union territories of the whole country, elections are being held tomorrow in 102 constituencies of 17 states and 4 union territories.

Simultaneously, further elections are being held tomorrow in 60 assembly seats of Arunachal Pradesh state and 32 seats of Sikkim.

The states and union territories are West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Rajasthan, Paducherry, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Jammu and Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Andaman. and Nicobar Islands.

In West Bengal's Cooch Behar, Jagdish Chandra Varma Basunia, BJP's Nishith Pramanik, Congress's Piya Roy Chowdhury and Left Front's Sharik Forward Block's Nitish Chandra Roy are fighting for Trinamool. There are other smaller parties and independent candidates as well.

Trinamool's Nirmal Chandra Roy, BJP's Jayant Kumar Roy, Left Front's CPM candidate Debraj Burman are contesting for Jalpaiguri seat. There are other parties and independent candidates.

Trinamool's Prakash Chik Baraik, BJP's Manoj Tigga, Left Front's Milli Onrao and other small party independent candidates are contesting for the Alipurdua seat.

In the last Lok Sabha elections of 2019, out of 42 seats in this state, Trinamool won 22, BJP 18 and Congress 2 seats. Left Front was empty.

And out of 543 seats in the entire country, BJP won 303, Congress 52, Samajwadi Party 5, Bahujan Samaj Party 10, Trinamool 22, DMK 23, YSR Congress 22 and TDP 2 seats.

In the last election, 40 women MPs were elected from BJP, 9 from Trinamool, 6 from Congress, 5 from Odisha BJD, a total of 78. And this year, 1 crore 80 lakh voters (18-19 years) will exercise their right to vote for the first time in India.

7 crore 69 lakh voters will vote in West Bengal this time. Among them, 3 crore 85 lakh 30 thousand 981 are men. Women 3 crore 73 lakh 4 thousand 960 people. 1 thousand 837 transgender voters in the state.

In West Bengal, the Election Commission has deployed 263 companies of central forces for all polling stations to ensure smooth polling. There is a central force in each polling station. There are also 11 thousand state police.

The Election Commission has identified 196 out of 2,43 polling stations in Cooch Behar constituency, 159 out of 1,867 polling stations in Alipurduar and 391 out of 1,904 polling stations in Jalpaiguri as sensitive polling stations.

BJP candidates won the first phase of these three constituencies in 2019. Nishith Pramanik in Cooch Behar, Jayant Roy in Jalpaiguri and John Barla in Alipurduar.

The BJP this time has nominated Manoj Tigga, BJP's chief whip in the state assembly instead of John Barla. In the last election, the BJP had defeated Trinamool candidates in these three constituencies by a huge margin.

This time also BJP is hopeful, they are going to win again in these three seats. Because BJP is still strong in North Bengal area of ​​West Bengal.

Recently ABP Anand and C-Voter in their poll report indicated that BJP is going to win all three seats in the first phase. Although the Trinamool rejected this argument, the people of the state are still in favor of Mamata Banerjee's development. This time they will strengthen the hands of the India Alliance which defeated the fanatical BJP in these three seats.
