Hamas has claimed hostages of Israeli soldiers fighting from Jabalia in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Abu Ubaida, the spokesman of the armed wing of Hamas, Al-Qashem Brigades, said this on Saturday. However, the Israeli military has rejected this demand of Hamas.

However, the spokesperson of Al-Qashem Brigade did not give any details about how many Israeli soldiers have been taken hostage. He did not even show any evidence in support of the claim.

In a pre-recorded message, Abu Ubaidah said, "Our fighters lured the Jewish forces (Israeli military forces) into an ambush inside a tunnel. Later, the operation was ended after all the members of that force were killed and arrested. Al-Jazeera broadcasted this message on Sunday.

However, the Israeli military has rejected such a demand of Hamas today. A statement said nothing of the sort happened. No Israeli soldiers were taken hostage by Hamas.

Abu Ubaydah claimed Israeli troops hostage within hours of the possibility of resuming ceasefire talks in Gaza.

Meanwhile, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to immediately stop the attack on the Palestinian city of Rafah. However, ignoring the order, Israel intensified the attack on Rafah. Yesterday there was a massive attack on the ground and air in Rafah city.
